Paste your MOT sheet

Last updated · OBDCode UK editorial

Copy the advisory list from the certificate or from the GOV.UK MOT history page. We match each line to what happened to other cars that carried the same wording the following year, and list them in that order.

If a registration number is in the paste we remove it. The text is not stored. This is not a diagnosis of your car.

The form works without JavaScript. JavaScript, when available, keeps you on this page.

What this page will and will not say

Per-registration lookup sites echo the tester’s wording back. Forums interpret one sheet at a time. This page uses the official wording as a key into the DVSA bulk extracts: the same physical car, from its 2024 test to the next year’s test.
