This site is designed to work without collecting personal data.

MOT checks

Registration numbers you enter are sent to the DVSA MOT History API to fetch the vehicle's public test record, then discarded. We do not store, log or share them, and they are never used for marketing.

Analytics

We do not run analytics on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or cross-site tracking, and no third-party script of any kind on these pages. The site is served through Cloudflare, and the CDN may receive your IP address and User-Agent as part of delivery; we do not run Google Analytics or advertising pixels. Nothing here sets a cookie, and we do not sell data.

If we ever add analytics, it will be an aggregate, cookieless count that sets no identifiers — or, if it needs storage, it will ask you first. This page will say which one before it is switched on.

MOT sheet paste

The My MOT sheet tool sends a pasted advisory list only to match the lines against published pages. A registration number in the paste is removed. The text is not stored, logged, or used for marketing.

Storage on your device

This browser may keep a vehicle card after a successful registration check, and a Repair Brief snapshot after you create one. Both stay only in this browser. My car can delete them. We do not receive that copy.

Commercial links

Links marked as sponsored may set a cookie on the destination retailer's site so they can attribute the referral. That happens on their domain, under their privacy policy.
