What changes the price?
- DMF or solid flywheel: many diesels/turbo cars use a DMF; not every car does.

Confirm the fault before authorising the job
A controlled high-gear load test can support a slipping-clutch diagnosis, while poor gear selection may be hydraulic or linkage-related. An automatic gearbox shudder is a different fault path.

Ask whether the kit, release bearing/slave cylinder, flywheel inspection or replacement, fluids, seals, VAT and warranty are included. Request the old parts back if practical.
